Vice President Message

It is an extremely great privilege and pleasure for me to convey this message of welcome to everyone connected to the Naseem International School family. It is especially so, considering my capacity as a member of the Executive Leadership Team and the fact that I spent my whole school life as a student at Naseem, graduating as one of the second IB Diploma Programme cohort in 1999. Welcome to the new academic year.

Over the years our school has advanced its educational programmes, augmented and improved the facilities and resources in leaps and bounds. Our passion for the educational success of our students has brought us to the point where we are today, a respected IB World School, offering all four International Baccalaureate Programmes. Along with this, we place a huge focus on implementing and delivering a Teaching and Learning curriculum that effectively prepares and develops the skills of the 21stCentury learner. From my perspective as a graduate, I have witnessed how we have progressed and how we strive and aspire to live up to the vision and mission of our school.

The introduction of the “Explorer’s Realm for Lifelong Learners”, exemplifies our unique approach to teaching and learning and its model is classically based on the Inquiry Cycle and Bloom's Taxonomy. The libraries and Media Centers are considered as integral and at the heart of it all, supporting the teaching and learning across the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics. Thus, the creation of the STEAM Makerspace, dedicated to experiential learning and hugely benefiting those at the foundation of our educational programme.
In addition, we recently inaugurated the NIS Cultural Theater and the NIS Art Gallery with two additional art studios in the main campus. Our recent authorization to deliver the Career – Related Programme and BTEC has presented further choices of study courses for students. High School students have the liberty to choose their career paths and are availed the option of choosing the IB Diploma, IB Career – Related or BTEC courses of study. We believe that these enhancements would continue to challenge the modern technophile and that such a learning environment prepares learners for a future that necessitates their talents and skills.

Our mission is to educate ‘the whole person’ and this is what we pledge to do. We appreciate the hard work of all faculty and staff members but most importantly, we value the continued support of all the parents.

I wish you a great and successful year.
